The Welcome Home project started because of work the TWHS Community Service Club does with the YWCA Family Shelter in Columbus Ohio. Many of the families we have met have almost no possessions when they leave the shelter. In November of 2011 we 'adopted' our first family and provided them with a new home, not the physical bricks and mortar, but the tables, beds, dishes etc. that allow a family to live a normal life. We would like to be able to continue the program and expand it.
