New Day Store - Elmira College

Thanks to a generous grant from HSBC, Elmira College SIFE continued its popular New Day Store program. This program teaches at-risk school-aged children at Diven Elementary School hands-on entrepreneurial and financial skills by helping the students run their own school store. This year Elmira College SIFE was able to improve the program by having the lesson plans meet New York State educational standards.
